(One ancient redwood has been presiding over our part of the forest for over a thousand years!). A true mid-century modern gem, Lucky Bend Lookout was architect-designed and constructed in 1966, and is now remodeled with plenty of family friendly amenities.

The Russian River is only about an hour and twenty minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge but do your family a favor and take all day with one of these road trip options.
Lucky Bend Lookout is only a 20 minute walk or a 6 minute bike ride to downtown Guerneville. Guerneville is located right on the Russian River and is centrally located between the Russian River AVA, the Dry Creek AVA, and Sonoma Coast State Beach. It is perfect home base for exploring all the great activities that Western Sonoma County has to offer. Check out our post on the perfect way to spend a day or two in Guerneville. While most people think of the Russian River for tubing in the summer, fall and winter are also great but with far fewer crowds.

- You can expect to receive an email with arrival and check-out information about 1 week prior to your arrival.
- Potential for noise from other nearby vacation homes
- One flight of stairs to front door
- Exterior security cameras at the front and rear door (no interior cameras)
